It's really all Rick's fault...
One day, Rick called to tell me he wanted to publish a print book -
much to the cheering of friend & best selling author
John Harricharan.
Rick wanted this book to help kids around the world. I knew
the percentage traditional publishers pay. (not much) That's when I called Tammy.
We agreed that Rick needed a more generous publisher.
So... TikiBooks is a little like the child born in the back seat of the car on the way to
the hospital. (Man, that happened fast!)
As Rick was writing and John was cheering & coaching, Tammy and I were editing
and formatting and filing registrations and ISBN numbers.
Before Rick's book even went to print... before this website was even completed...
we had another author waiting in the wings, Rick has a second book in the works, and
John is cheering louder than ever!

At TikiBooks, we believe in giving back. Each of our authors is asked to donate
10% of their profit to charity. Each author is asked to pick several charities so that
book buyers can choose a charity they are comfortable supporting.
But, that's not all. We match it. 10% of our annual profit is donated to charity, too!
From feeding the hungry right here at home, to building schools in third world
countries and preserving land for our endangered animals... it's about doing our part
